Financial Analysis

Capabilities include:

• Model development using integrated Visual Basic/Excel/ MS Access approaches.

I tend to work closely with clients, providing the additional 'arms and legs' to get projects completed on time, as well as bringing specialist finance and analytical skills to the party.

My tools of my trade include Microsoft Excel (big time) augmented by the rest of the MS Office suite - and I like the Vista/Office 2007 combo! I use Palisade @Risk for simulation analyses and various database products (MS and Oracle) as required.

Some time ago I developed a VBA-driven investment banking model which I still use as a starting point for most of the project feasibility analyses. Of course no two projects are the same, so much more development work is still always required.

This approach provides:

• periodic financial statements including Cash Flow, Profit and Loss and Balance Sheets.
• Internal rate of return and net present value analysis.
